I have checked Variety Vista, Wexler and CRDieVarieties but can't find a match. Any ideas? Are there other resources out there for quarters?

Maybe Tanman could take a look at it. Nice RPM on nice looking silver quarter.

PCGS has a few nice examples. E bay is another source such as it is. To me
this coin looks like it's been worked on. The s mint has almost no detail and the field around it is covered in wire brush marks or something. I'm no expert, but I have a ever growing collection of post mint damage coins.

looks an rpm to me , I would check Wexler's , he has over 13 1948s rpms and many of them with the split lower serif and try to look for the markers.

I like WRPM-005. The splits look to be the same and very similar die scratches that are shown in the listing on the reverse. Yours may just be a different die stage. I hate they don't show the mm location on many of the their listings.
