This is a pretty neat medal commemorating 50th anniversary of Japan Mint in Osaka. I don't know how many were issued.

Issued in 1921

Featuring 1870 yen, Taisho 5 / 10 sen and the reverse of the Meiji gold coins.

An interesting fact - did you know that the original Japan mint machinery came from Hong Kong Mint?

I like the coins as a design element. How big is this medal?

Very cool medal, gxseries!
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Spencer I don't have a measuring tape or ruler handy. It's rather large - I'm guessing around 4 inch? Weights slightly over 2 ounce

Ok yes hefty then. Those images of the coins must be only a little smaller than the real thing!
