halfamind Pillar of the Community United States 1484 Posts	Posted 03/08/2025 1:54 pm As a point of reference, as a kid I once shot (with a .22) a nickel propped against a piece of waterlogged 2 X 4. All I can say is I'm glad it was angled a bit, because nickel and bullet ricocheted off the spongy wood and whizzed past my head. I don't want to know how close, but I'll never forget the sound.
