Living in Oz I don't get access to many US coins (unless I pay top dollar at auctions). By noodling bulk lots of world coins I've been slowly adding to my collection. While waiting for cyclone Alfred to hit Brisbane I got stuck into a recent batch of world coins that included some wheat pennies. Low and behold, I scored a 1909 Wheat penny with the initials. Now I know you folks in the US find mint condition 1909 pennies in your cereal boxes but finding a low grade specimen in a bulk buy in Oz I thought worth sharing! Report this Post to the Staff
