I'm trying to learn how to identify, possibly degrade a coin.Can you tell me how close I am? AU50? What do you think?

Actually no it wasn't cleaning it came out of my pocket that was in the washing machine so I guess if you call that cleaning okay

Hot water, soap, and movement inside a fabric pocket can easily remove patina.

Too much wear and flattening of devices to get anywhere near AU, unfortunately.
