Soaked this coin in acetone for about a week to clean it up some. Initially, it looked like there was also a crack running across the top of WE and GOD but after the bath, it's just gunk and staining.

Thanks for the links Makecents. I went back and looked at it and it seems normal to me though that stain (?) spot above the knee made me look more closely.

The stains on this coin are very deceiving. That one above the knee looks raised at certain angles. Go on commenting!! I never hurts to take a second look!!
