All right, in a previous thread I showed off my collection of Series 1929 National Currency (Type 2) Notes, which are also referred to as Federal Reserve Bank Notes because they were issued by the Federal Reserve districts and not by individual local banks.

In addition to these Type 2 Federal Reserve Bank Notes, I also owned one Type 1 National Currency Note:

I figured it was time to get the other denominations in this series, and just acquired the following notes:

An-Almost-Complete-Set-Of-Series-1929-National-Currency-Type-I-Notes

An-Almost-Complete-Set-Of-Series-1929-National-Currency-Type-I-Notes

Edit: And here is the $100 National Bank Note that I just acquired:

Very nice, this is my set.

I don't have any $50 or $100 national currency.

Nice! The $50 national currency note I just got wasn't all that expensive, but it still cost $300 or so. The few $100 national currency notes I have seen in similar condition, however, seem to be selling well north of $1000.

Actually, scratch that. I actually have found a few examples for more common banks for around $500, but that's still more than I want to pay right now after spending that money on the $50. Something to look forward to, I guess.

Ah, what the heck. Make that a "complete" set of Series 1929 National Currency (Type I) Notes, since I couldn't resist the temptation to buy the following note off ebay for $500:

And in other news, I just realized that once again I posted an incorrect note in my original post (I posted the $50 FRBN instead of the $50 National Currency Note), but I have now corrected it.
