Hey everyone. I've collected quite a few Morgans but this one stood out to me. It has absolutely no die markers that can be seen without good magnification, and the few polishing lines it does show are very difficult to find.
What really stands out though is it's luster, which seriously looks like satin to me. I've had many 65-67 toned special mint set Kennedy's and the luster looks remarkably similar here, but also in how the fields have sort of a reflective haziness.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I do not believe your coin is a proof.

It's a Business strike with toning.

Business strike, not Deep MPL, but nice luster, hint of cameo.
Mirror proof like (MPL) early strike off the dies, breast feathers nicely struck up.

Some may like this particular toning, ....... some, - not so much.
obv. MS-61,
rev. MS-62.

Okay. I thought it was strange that there are no signs of die wear, particularly around the lettering. I'm not using to seeing that on something that isn't a CAM, DCAM, or proof.

Am I correct in assuming "MPL" is the state of die progression that naturally comes after CAM?

Cool toning. Not a Proof. I think she makes MS63, not higher due to the obverse chatter,
