MD, if you love toned Morgans you would have a field day in Japan. The humidity is something fierce in Japan, especially in the summer time. I've come to realize this is the reason for all of the wild toning.

In the US, you probably see a ton of those "US 20th Century Type" coin frames. Well, Japan has a lot of those but also various other novelty frames for Japanese collectors of US coins. This one actually came out of a frame that had this Morgan and the stamps of Okinawa. The three spots on the reverse actually had something black on the inside of the thick plastic casing it came in, and you could tell it was wrapped up in that thing for a while.

But, never on a penny...

That's some wild toning! The chatter behind the head might keep it from a 65, but otherwise not many marks and a stunning reverse. I'd say MS-64+.
