Quote: I wonder how hard it is the get a 1976-D Type 1 from circulation? Ten years ago when I was roll searching halves, I would ask for Ikes also. Once in awhile I would come across some. The 1976 type 2 were always more plentiful than the type 1 (but the type 1 D was easier to find than the type 1 P). If I'm not mistaken the type 1 D had a higher mintage than the P)

There are worse problems you can have. Maybe you need three more to fill out a new row.

I hope the Mint gives the Eisenhower the same treatment it gave the Peace and Morgan dollars in 2021. It would be awesome to see a 4 coin set including a Reverse Proof and an Enhanced Uncirculated version However, the mint missed two key dates they could have used for 50th anniversaries - 2019 and 2021
