Real 1922 Grant With Star? - Coin Community Forum

enzeno Valued Member United States 72 Posts	Posted 04/04/2025 2:26 pm Hello All, I personally can find nothing wrong with this coin in particular, but it is a rather rare one so I wanted more opinions. It passes the sigma, it weighs 12.5 grams, and the star appears legit vs the crude star addition in the altered regular 1922s. Appreciate any comments! Report this Post to the Staff

But if it were mine, I would be sending it off for certification. One day you or your heirs will have the task of selling it, and that will go far more smoothly if it's certified. I think the confusing part is the first image I posted says "authentic", meaning a known authentic coin. Then I put "yours". I didn't mean to make it sound like I think yours isn't authentic.
