fortcollins Pillar of the Community United States 3625 Posts	Posted 04/07/2025 1:52 pm It's a nice looking Buffalo, overall. The obverse has a couple rim dings, at 8-9 and again at 11 o'clock. The reverse has a rim ding at 1 o'clock. The high points of the obverse (hair above the knot, cheek, eyebrow) and reverse (shoulder, flank) have a bit too much chatter for MS-65. There is a scuff on the obverse that involves the rim and lower second feather at 8 o'clock. The spot left of LIBERTY could just be a light reflection, but if it is a white spot, there could be a surface issue down the road. IMHO, this one lands at MS-64 for PCGS and NGC, possibly a step lower for ANACS. Report this Post to the Staff

panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18640 Posts	Posted 04/10/2025 3:31 pm the 37 and 38 buffs are well known for high grade examples. MS66 is fairly common and MS67 are also seen. FC is expert on these so his comments have added weight. MS64. fair amount of glare could be obscuring what we are seeing so avoid overhead light to cut down on glare. the best photos are what the coin looks like in hand Report this Post to the Staff
