For those that get the regular proof and the silver proofs from the years 2007-2016 where they included the dollar coins in both the clad regular set and the silver proof sets, what did you do with the extra set of dollar coins? I'm wondering if it would be better to get the Silver set and then just the Silver Quarter set but then I'd have to source the clad dime and clad half dollar separately which might not save much. Or do you just get both the regular clad and silver set and try and sell off the extra penny, nickel and dollars? Just trying to figure out a plan of attack. At least later it appears the dollars are separate. Then I gotta figure out all these reverse proofs....ugh my head is spinning

It will probably end up being cheaper, depending on your source, to buy the sets, and either resell the loose coins you don't need, or turn them loose into the wild.

There are many ebay sellers with cheap proof cents, nickels, dimes. If you buy in bulk and combine shipping, you can get them for $1/coin (which is the lowest that ebay allows).

Oh, I didn't know ebay only allowed $1 for the lowest. Maybe I can find some sets or just cheap partial proof sets or even throw in a few on another order if they have them.

Pokemon? what's that?

But I do have the 'PacMan Syndrome', as I have to get each and everyone of them before the bank account catches up to me.

I only buy full silver proof sets and the clad quarter proof sets. Been doing that for a while because of the duplicate cent, nickel, and dollar(s). The clad dime and half dollars are readily available at coin shows.

But I buy from the Mint as they are released.
