Left me a Lovely coin. And I'm worried about the spot price of gold not at all. My weight and my collectors are part of the Legacy I'm leaving for my loved ones. Most of all my son who has an active interest in it and hopefully he'll pass that on to his kid.

Theres just something about Gold isn't there and something about that Golden Eagle ? I just wish I had a time machine to go back to 2001 when I had the cash to buy $50 K+ of $240 oz gold. But don't we all.

Gold coins are beautiful but too darn expensive right now for my coin budget.

Gold bullion round.
Looks very attractive, but
I would prefer a nice St Gaudens 90% anyway.

Hard to argue with that. I just spent 30 mins eyeballing them myself. But the graded ones aren't being given away which points to a lot of fans of the coin.

They seem to have always been too expensive for my budget.

This is very nice. I tend to like the gold Commems and the Liberty series. But any gold is great!

Beware :-
With the price of gold skyrocketing,
there is more of a temptation for the fakers to manufacture fakes with tungsten cores, with thick gold covering, either from recycled 90 % coin gold, or 99.999 pure gold, depending on the product.

(Both tungsten and gold have a density of 19.3 g/cc.)

Very deceiving bullion bars and coin fakes have been reported in the past, the coins to proof standard.
