I bought quite a few coins in some estate sales, mainly bags of wheat cents. One of the estates also had cigar boxes with random coins, which is how I ended up with a couple dozen Ikes and about the same number of KHCs and other modern denominations. I'm guessing the original owner lived somewhere in the eastern half of the country, because there are a lot of Philadelphia coins in this box. I've hardly ever bought or sold the modern coins, so I'll toss a couple of these out for grading and comments.

Several of the coins in this group have decent toning, probably from being in a wooden cigar box for almost 50 years. Toning isn't my thing, so I sure welcome all comments on that aspect, too.

This first coin is a 1976 Eisenhower dollar, a generic business strike with about the heaviest toning of the coins in this box. I'm not familiar with varieties for the Ike. All thoughts and comments welcomed! Here are the obverse and reverse photos. Thanks!

Decent looking example. It has the Variety 2 reverse. I love the golden tone.
