Hi,
I recently picked up this 1776 Russia 5 Kopeks that appears to me to have the reverse stamped over previously obverse stamp. I did a stare and compare to other examples and this appears to be unique.
The weight is 47g, should be 51g, so I had it checked and confirmed composition is copper.
Edge is oblique milled.

Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Many of these 5 Kopecks were overstruck on previous issues.

The weight is highly variable. I have a 1778 that weighs 56.9 g.

Weight of the coin can range from 35 grams to 65 grams.

Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

This would be signs of die clash. This year is not known for overstrike and is unlikely.

Weight variance for this particular coin can vary drastically as mentioned by Hondo.
