Attached Malaysian 1 Ringgit 2 coins for comparison. Both coins minted in the same year. The first coin looks odd with some alphabets and numbers showing doubling. Wonder if these is considered as double strike. The second coin is a normal minting. Would highly appreciate your advises and comments. Thank you.

I'm a bit sceptical.

What is the weight of the first coin and what does the edge look like?

There is a reason why this coin is demonitized - these were heavily counterfeited.

Yours definitely looks like a fake, Sander. For what it's worth, here's one of mine that I'm fairly certain is genuine.

The metal in the presumed fake coins appears to be very soft and possibly porous, and design details are very "mushy."
