So my bank coins have not been great the past two weeks until last Thursday. I finally got penny rolls which had a mix of Shield and Lincoln Memorial cents. I found this 1983 P LMC with what appears to be a 001 Doubled Die. I must confess this cent was a pain to identify because I'm lousy at it. I looked at Copper Coins, Wexler and Variety Vista and this penny looked like all of them so I picked Copper Coins because my coin surface looked muddy and dirty and showed no Die sirachas Like V.V. and Wexler on their coins. I apologies to all for my short comings in picking DDO's. The last two pics show very light Die Cracks at the bottom of the Memorial. Look at the pics and let me know your thoughts and regards!
Some of these 83's are extremely subtle and tough to know for sure without markers. Good luck, I typically toss these after running through the listings without a definite ID.
