Looks promising, but can you provide photos of the entire coin, both sides?

I can't get them downsized enough. I do have pics, but they are too large even after compression

Try resizing your photos to 800x800 first, then compressing. You can use photoshop, or Irfanview, or any online photo editor.

Your compression is way too high, at 90, which is overkill for the Internet. Your file is 295kb, but this one is 65kb at 60 compression. There is no perceptible difference.

Newcomb 7? Is it enough to be a low MS coin? Aside from whatever those spots are, little to no wear.

Good job on the photos! Looks good for N-7 to me, although sharper images of the inside loops of the 8 would help. There is definitely wear on the leaves. I'd say AU details from the obverse corrosion spots and a light cleaning in the past.

Oh that's fantastic. Not bad for a $40 ebay auction!

AU 58 lists for $2000 on PCGS!

Unfortunately, with the corrosion spots, low AU sharpness, and poor eye appeal, this is nowhere close to a PCGS-graded AU-58 value. It will always be a details coin, but I wonder if conservation might help with the eye appeal?
