DOCC Pillar of the Community United States 1502 Posts	Posted 05/06/2025 11:15 pm Dug this coin today, heavily worn to the point that half of the MM is gone. I think I see the top half of a D but it may just be wishful thinking. Would like to get some additional opinions...thx I swing a metal detector and have a knack for finding dirty old coins. Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6504 Posts	Posted 05/07/2025 12:36 am I believe that all the D mint marks were angled about 45 degrees to the right for 1916. Just looking at worn dimes on PCGS, I think a mint mark would be just as visible as the leaves. Could be wrong, of course. Report this Post to the Staff
