Hi, I don't know much about coins but I have a 1945 no mint mark Mercury dime. Around the face it looks as if there's a shadow or almost a double print of the face area. Is this normal for this particular coin or an error on the coin ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Coins are struck or minted. Banknotes are printed.
Just looks normal to me.
I can't see anything that would not be caused by wear and damage.

Agree with JimmyD. For this piece, no mint mark = struck at the Philadelphia mint. What does the reverse look like?

I see a well circulated and likely cleaned coin with no obvious errors. Value is the silver content.
