I received this quarter from a changer machine at laundry center and I found it interesting and it appears to have errors. I searched forums on this site and did not find any discussions on this particular quarter. My knowledge is limited on error coins and I just save coins that I find unusual. I have included photos and would appreciate any input on if this is a mint error or not. Thank you.

To CCF! Just a badly damaged coin, no errors. All PMD. Worth face value.

Looks like the edge was sanded and the field was hammered. Just a damaged coin now.

Damage is not an error. An error can only occur during the
striking of the coin and there is no way for what is on your quarter
to happen at that time. It is just PMD ( Post Minting Damage)
