Pretty dramatic, but yes that looks like MD to me. I'm not seeing any split serifs. The doubling is step-like and serves to narrow the affected devices.

I can see why you posted this coin. The doubling on RTY and the wings looks like classic Machine Doubling. But that date has a compelling appearance. I am surprised that there would be enough material in the digits to produce such a large shelf of Machine Doubling.
This one caught my eye too, Brand. I pulled a pic from PCGS and got a closeup of the date. It looks like the font was a little thicker on these, so maybe that helps explain the exaggerated look.
