Users - try clearing browser history / browser cache, this may improve performance... it worked for me.
Admins - you know what to do:
Restarting web server services or application pools, or restart web server and/or database server, for further research check server logs

Just some more stuff I've noticed bobby. When I get logged out, the ads start rolling up from the bottom. Then I know I need to clear my cookies. I did this yesterday and also noticed that when the cookie count is around 172 the stuff starts happening. Clear them. When it happens again, cookie count 172, maybe a few more. Clear them and repeat until I get the logout.

People not logged in will see those ads, it's normal.
The cookie count thing sure sounds like a browser problem. I don't see how it could have anything to do with our site.

I have the same problem as Cookie Monster above. I normally don't get those ads, but lately I have, and I keep getting logged out. I log in, hit "New Posts" and get logged out again, and it keeps going in a cycle. Had to clear my cookies and then it worked OK.
