wanted to get some thought on this coin, I think I have read every forum some one has asked if their coin was a possible Un-plated. So I figured to get the best answer I will share.

1967 coins are not plated , they are bronze .
What you have is a normal cent with severe
environmental damage!

so 83 would be but if I read correct gas bubbles indicate post mint tampering correct?

Not necessarily, but it happens in a much different way and for different reasons between the two types of coins. You will see the three examples in the Error-Ref link.
