Artist - Aristide Berto Cianfarani (1895-1960).
Manufacturer - Gorham Co.

The obverse reproduces part of a painting by a Flemish artist David Teniers the Younger (1610-1690) "Le Chimiste" (The Alchemist). The artist has many versions of paintings with this subject. This one was chosen.
