Hello and as always thanks in advance for all the skills and brain knowledge you all have identifing these treasures.
1870-1620 medal is part of the 100's I picked up on estate years ago still going through--I dont know if its BRONZE , Copper, silver , gold etc. Its 36.5mm and 24.5 grams weight. non magnetic. Looks like possible doubling and seems in MS condition. Please advise of your opinion on Grading and should it be slabbed, poss value.--Thanks Again Mike

@mik, any possibility of you measuring the specific gravity of this piece?

I googled gravity of coin so this is my results

Air Weight 24.5 Grams
Water Weight 2.9 grams
Specific Gravity = (Weight in Air) / (Weight in Water).
Net-8.448
Hope That makes the medal RARE!! LOL

That specific gravity is in the brass / bronze range.

Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
