Bought this coin many years ago. Thinking of selling it now. Looks to have vf sharpness but has some surface issues. What would be a fair selling price these days in your opinion?

The photos are not clear. Coin looks G to VG, but could be higher. $140 to $250 depending on grade.

Pictures aren't great, but I'll guess maybe VG details at best.

for some reason the pics came over too small. This coin has much more detail than vg left.

Pics are still blurry but it looks more like VF sharpness to the devices. I'd still like to see clear focused pics. Assuming no problems like ED, cleaning, etc... which could "details" it. A PCGS graded VF is valued at about $1000. You may want to consider having this graded by a TPG.

coin does have ED so it would not straight grade. I have an offer from someone who needs this for his type set. I have a # in mind but wanted some other opinions. My picture taking skills are not great.

I don't know how others feel but to me generally, If a coin is a details coin I would only pay half of the straight graded value. That said these middle date cents are hard to come by with any sort of detail to the devices. Good luck with whatever you decide.

those early classic head planchets were shipped in from england in barrels subject to all kinds of environmental issues. looks like this is the case here especially what I can see on the obv. there is way too much detail on those leaves to be VG. imo it mid VF probably 30 (details) ED
