Found this coin while ago in a roll of Wheat penny that I bought. It has a Pre-Cud on Lincoln's bust and two Die Cracks on reverse.    gigi2110

I'm thinking it's a Rim To Rim Die Crack. Cool find.  Errers and Varietys.

Gigi, you're actually correct. A Pre-Cud is a Rim To Rim Die Crack.

Also, obverse shows early stage die deterioration--note the subtle doubling in the date and flow lines to the rim. Cool.

Very cool looking steel cent. Besides the cracks I like the way you photographed the Die Deterioration metal flow and the "poor man's" doubling ( DDD) on the date and mintmark. |
