Assuming I'd want to be rescued, I'd take a highly reflective Eisenhower PR70 dollar. Use it to signal.

I don't own a coin that can be used as a tool or weapon so I would need to purchase something like this to bring on the trip.

Probably this one: Choice BU 1924 SLQ. I bought it sometime in the mid-1970s for $48. I remember the ad saying that it has a Full Head. It doesn't.
