Cool find!

Sadly it's not the same as the coin in the auction. Yours looks to be a reissue. They are still collectible and some are worth a nice premium. Mind if I ask how much you paid for it?

That's really cool. I doubt Mine would go for something like that
I'm not sure when it was struck I have to research the striking characteristics and learn more about these medals before I get too excited about a price like that on mine. Would be cool though. Just means the coin budget goes up. Which is always a good thing

EDIT TO ANSWER PRICE: $60.00

Still a very nice looking medal. Are their any markings on the rim?

Thank You,There are no markings on the rim just smooth, the relief on this just really hits me. I wish the mint could get back to regular coinage that has nice relief. Like the Mercury's. Possibly something like the Peace dollar But with the presses of today would be well stuck relief.

Medals typically do have high relief, I know little about these but just happened to do a quick search the other night and posted that link just so we could figure it out. It caught my eye because it is similar to the reverse of the recent Westward Journey "peace" or "handshake" Nickels.
