If it was in my collection I'd give it vf25. I grade my coins harshly. (Don't ever want to be told my coin is a lesser grade than I graded it)! If somebody else grades my coin higher...thats fine by me!

By the way Moe...Nice Bust! They are one of my favorites! I don't have as many as I would like! (But then again...what is enough when it comes to a series you like)?

Maybe I'll try posting a few pics later tonight. My camera setup isn't good and I get alot of glare off everything except old copper.

I know nothing of the series really.
The Obs looks very nice to me... maybe EF The revs looks very worn to me... maybe just F
Is that the reason everyone is going VF to average the grades? Teach me please.

Busties can be found with pretty indifferent strikes. This can manifest itself by the tops of the wings and the eagle's head being pretty weak; as a general rule, if the "wear" on the wings is towards the top, I consider strike; if it's towards the bottom, I think circulation. Having decided this coin has a fairly weak strike, I then give more allowance on the obverse to strike as well. Hence, an F15 coin if it's all wear becomes a VF25 coin if strike is involved. In my opinion, which like all others must be seasoned with salt.
