2021-P Jefferson Nickel (Different One!) DDD Or Something Else?

snailking1 Pillar of the Community United States 1312 Posts	Posted 07/11/2025 9:26 pm I noticed the line under the arched window seems to bend down around the window. Trying to figure out why. Could it be DDD, where the bottom of the window became so wide, that the die between the window and the triangle was weakened enough to get pushed down slightly out of position? Or is it some exotic, never seen before, error phenomenon? Report this Post to the Staff

The small break to the left of the of the window is especially what makes me wonder if that small, thin piece of metal (die) was pushed. Figure that pushing of the metal could have possibly caused the small crack. Report this Post to the Staff
