I'm new to coins so...is the green coming out of the Legs are is it on the Legs. And should I try to clean it off? Thanks for your help..

To CCF! That green stuff could be corrosion on the legs. It's PMD. A pure acetone soak and Verdi-Care might help take it off.

If you do soak the coin for a bit in 100% acetone, please let us know the result. Thanks.

Unless you have some acetone, do not buy any. The cost would be more
than the value of the quarter. Cleaned or not, it is still a bullion coin.
