New member, and fairly new at collecting.
This was in a giant cup of pennies I finally found time for.
Any ideas on what I have here?

It looks like a circulation hit pushed metal of the 1 around. It's just a damaged coin, not an error.

Yes, post-strike damage. For full context, it is customary to post full, large and sharp pics of the obverse and reverse--sometimes we see other interesting issues.

Errors are mostly one of a kind so they aren't classified as being "known" like varieties are. But as noted - your coin is just damaged.
