I purchased a sealed box of pennies from the bank. After opening , they all to appear to be uncirculated 2023 Ds. What do I do with them? I don't think there is an extra V on the D mint-marked pennies. Anyway, I have never found one of those. Due to the future of the Lincoln Cent, would people want to get some while they can? I don't want to keep these. I neither have the space or the time left to keep them. What's the best idea?

I'm definitely with you on this. Return them to the bank and move on.

I agree. I would just return them to the bank. Maybe turn it in to another bank you don't use.

Bummer. Yes, a return is probably the best option.

I would always wonder about the "what if" there was some one of a kind strike thru? Or a new discovery of some sort? It would not take too much time to briefly look at all the coins then re-roll them to take back to bank. For me, I would want to know and not wonder what if.

I'm retired and still couldn't justify the time to do that - I would go insane after the first 10 rolls - it would be like stranded at sea on a raft drifting, drifting, drifting, and all you can see is the vastness of the ocean

Until you saw an island full of fruit and fresh drinking water.
