Can someone enlighten me as to the difference between a British Half Penny and a New York Machin Mill half penny(which are counterfeit to begin with), and possibly the Vlack #. I bought these as Machin Mills but someone just messaged me and said they were British counterfeits without any explanation. To me they look just like every Machin Mill I can reference from slabbed examples in the Bay, Google, PCGS app, I see no difference....please help cause I have these for sale and don't wanna rip somebody off.
Pretty simply a coin would have to match a known variety exactly, the same in all respects. I spent a little time comparing all of these and I don't see any matches to Machin's or any of the accepted American made counterfeits.
