2025 Supreme Court Doubled Die Reverse / DDR "extra Gable"?

mice45 Valued Member Canada 106 Posts	Posted 07/22/2025 1:31 pm I do not think it is a Double Die. The shape does not match the gables and the distance is too far. Also, a DD would have some of the original design showing. I think it is a Damaged Die that was hit by a pointed object. Nice find ! Report this Post to the Staff
mice45 Valued Member Canada 106 Posts	Posted 07/22/2025 1:38 pm Slightly off-topic: there are 2025 $1 Supreme Court coins with a nice Die Clash. It is a "dome" right above the middle of the roof. I'll post a photo later. P.S. (as expected) on a coin with such a busy design there are many different markings on the dies. Like with 1974 $1 some may turn into varieties :-) Report this Post to the Staff
