I think the most expensive coins to fill in will most likely be the Morgan dollars and probably Barber half dollars.
They are not that bad. But then again, compared to the earlier dollars required for the 7070, nothing is.

Good luck!

Glad you found an album you like, Humanist!

Looking good. Since it will be on the back burner you can take your time and find the best grade that your budget will allow to slowly fill the holes. Maybe like one every few months. Just take your time and don't just settle for cheapest just to fill a hole. That way you're not constantly upgrading it. At least that is how I would do it.

100%, very wise advice!

I always thought a complete 7070 (no gold) was out of reach for me. This guys video inspired me to start one and complete it several years ago. I did a virtual set on paper first. To my surprise, I already had over 75% of the coins in my collection.

Marc Ingram, that looks pretty awesome.

And nah, I abandoned the idea. Honestly, I lost interest in it. I think what I will do is since I have a Dansco coin stock album, add some coins to it that I don't feel like collecting entire sets of. This makes more sense to me and adding all coins to it that I don't have spots for anywhere else.

For example, I'd like to get my hands on some various different half dollars, but they are a bit out of reach for me in terms of collecting the entire set. I could add a few specimens of each to this 2X2 album and call it a day.

Well, a complete 7070 set is not for everyone, but making a custom Dansco album of just random coins you have is a good idea as well.

I had that problem with the Seated dollars. It took me a long time but I got there.
