13205150 New Member United States 30 Posts	Posted 07/28/2025 5:37 pm I received notice today from PCGS that my submission of a 2024 D Mary Edwards Walker is MS68. I'm very happy with that, actually shocked! Straight to the POP report I go and notice an anomaly. Since 2022, only 108 have been graded MS68, 96 of which received that grade in 2022. In subsequent years, the 68's fall off a cliff. The ratio of 68's vs number of submissions is odd to me as well. For example, the 2022 D Maya Angelou had 4,900+ submissions with 12 going MS68 while the 2022 D Anna May Wong had a mere 639 submissions with 27 going MS68. I'm very new at this, what am I missing? The main reason is there are high mintage numbers and the ratio of 68's to the number submitted may be high enough where a 68 isn't really a big deal and the cost to grade them out weighs the price they are selling for. Hence the drop off on submissions. I know I have a couple Ohio State Quarters that graded 68 and they only have around a $30 value - lost money getting them graded. Report this Post to the Staff

While there are a small # of people collecting the moderns in slabs, it's not a lot.
