I find 1952-D Cents to be among the most difficult to search as they have so many weird things going on. I remember in my early days finding many 52-D that I could not attribute, and many I did not understand. Even today I have a stack of unattributed 52-D. Luckily with this coin there was a clear die marker to definitively attribute the variety.
