Did the Mint actually produce coinage for Bangladesh in that or previous years?

Yes they did. They produced the stainless steel Bangladesh Twenty Five Poisha weighing 2.7 g in 1978.

But isn't stainless steel magnetic? The cert says non-magnetic.

Quote: But isn't stainless steel magnetic no it is not.....wait Quick google search Quote: Not all stainless steel is magnetic. Whether a stainless steel is magnetic depends on its specific composition and crystal structure. Generally, austenitic stainless steels (like 304 and 316) are not magnetic or only weakly magnetic, while ferritic and martensitic stainless steels (like 430, 410, and 420) are magnetic.

No one has answered your original question so I will give take on it. Unless CCCS was willing to change the wording free, I would not pay again to have it corrected. Just put a sticker on it with the proper information. Anyone could easily check to see if the information is correct if you were looking to sell it.

Nice coin! You could also consign it at a major auction if you are OK with losing a percentage. Canadian Numismatic Company and Geoffrey Bell are both seeking coins for upcoming auctions.

Unless I'm seriously mistaken, I don't think that we're talking about a huge bag of bucks.

It depends on what the OP is asking for it. I am pretty sure they both have a minimum listing.

With a foreign planchet known around 300 to 400 bucks, some recent auctions the results are surprising to upside, lots of errors in the 70 and 80 good luck!

Yes, it is a struck on a Bangladesh 25 poisha stainless steel non-magnetic planchet. In that grade, I would expect a price between $400 to $500. I have one from 1977: https://www.pcgs.com/cert/33950449If you do plan to sell it, please let us know where ( ebay or auction house, etc.).
