Came across this coin as I was going through pocket change. There is a defect on the left of the reverse. It is confusing because there are several things going on. I will try to explain with the pictures. The first two are shots of the obv. and rev. The obv shows a weak punch of George. The rev. shows the defect. It is a raised area moving left to right as you view the coin all the way from the hub.

The third shows the defect as I shot it with a different aspect that was caused by my different views of the coin, With the assistance of this photo I saw what I think may be an image of another coin that might have interfered with the die in the stamping process 2021-P--Tuskegee-Airmen-Quarter-Trying-To-Understand

That looks like a stain on the reverse, but your first reverse image is a bit blurry to see the finer details.

Just seeing a stain on the reverse. Staining is not an error. It's PMD.

Stain probable. Might also be an accumulation of dried dried--perhaps leaving a film?

The lighter area on the left is metal extending from the left of the area where the stain is.It is high enough that I can feel the edge with th edge of my nail. The yellow arrows indicates the edge of the metal. Is this a Cud. I've been away from this stuff for a while becaause of illness.

No not seeing any Cud on this coin. and with the stain, if there is something on the coin, you may be able to feel an edge.

- Perhaps a long soak in acetone might help.
