MS63 on the top coin and AU-58 on the bottom. Would be easier in hand but taking a stab at it.

Both MS-64, with nice luster, breast feathers on both reasonably well struck up.
Black spot near eye detracts a bit.

Both are nice looking coins. Low MS both not gem state for both.

MS63 I think the carbon spots may lower the grade

You guys have made me feel better about submitting them. I was in the MS63-64 camp when I sent them in, and yet.....   These were both part of a "Restoration" submission, by the way. I'll probably post another later tonight or tomorrow if anyone is interested. Thanks as always for your opinions and insight, I really appreciate it. |

i had the first one at MS63+
second one at MS63

I had it at MS-63 and unc details. The reverse of #2 is off under the wings and tailfeathers

Does anyone know from these pictures what might have been done to the Reverse to "alter" it?
