Hello Fellow Indian coin collectors,

I have recently acquired two thick copper coins, one of which is 20.2 g (ca. 22 mm) with a clearly visible date (987 AH), which makes it a dam of Akbar the Great. The mint mark is not familiar to me - can anyone help with attribution, please?
The other coin is too light for a dam (17.1 g, 19 mm) and too heavy for any smaller denomination. Also, it does not look like a typical Mughal dam. I will appreciate any help with either or both. Thanks a lot in advance!

Dear Andy G,
Thank you so much for your expert advice! Bikanir never occurred to me! I will do as you advise and comb G & G for #1.

Dear Andy G.,

You are spot on - an almost identical piece is featured under Hazrat Dehli, https://www.zeno.ru/showphoto.php?photo=109690

Thank you so much!
With best regards,

Shah
