Thanks! Under the microscope the delam was blown out before the strike. The lettering is faintly punched in. If it was damage it would cut through the letters.
Just wondering if it's worth anything worthwhile?

Even if it was a minor error, the nickel is in too bad shape
of shape to have a premium.

Even if it is a lam, as stated not worth much in its condition, maybe a buck if you found the right person.

For what it's worth (or not worth) just put it in a 2x2 and keep it as an example coin.
