Hi everyone
What's your guess on grade for this one
What can you points out for me on this beautiful coin what am I missing grade wise it looks to nice is it cleaned?
I don't see it lower then a ms65
I will send it to cacg when I get it.

Looks gem to me. Surprised that coins of this quality survive outside a TPG holder.

I think this coin looks cleaned. I could be wrong here, but something just looks off to me.

Nice coin! I can see it grading at MS-65. Doesn't look cleaned to me either.

The coin was dipped in the past, all of the desirable "crust" has been removed. The fields are complete with luster, but I see some discoloration and dullness on the obverse high points, signifying a small amount of rub. I think it would grade MS-63 tops.

Gotta say that this issue does not come better struck than this coin. Beautifully detailed design. Can't ask more from the early 1830s prior to the steam press.

Looks fantastic! Agree with a superb strike on early state dies. Nice luster despite a possible light dip in the past. I also wonder how this coin hasn't already been slabbed, unless past graders felt the surfaces weren't original enough to straight grade.

the lighting in these photos it creating a lot of glare which can be obscuring what the surfaces really look like.

post in-hand photos without overhead light. we want to see what the actual coin looks like.

the strike is exceptional for the series. the coin could be as low as AU58 or as high as MS65. all the luster needs to be there for the higher grade and if it was cleaned then the coin would detail. really cant narrow the grade using these photos

before sending for grading get some responses here first.
