Looking for help/advice on this 1989 coin. TY.

Im "guessing" a stuck planchet re-punch where liberty starts, and maybe the planchet was bad from the start? The 'IN' is very light and there seems to be doubling in 'GOD' on the Obverse.

On reverse, some doubling in 'UNITED--TED' and in 'STATES--ST'

Im probably wrong on my "Guessing" . Sorry about the whole coin picture...Im not sure why the phone camera takes upclose blurry pics.

Ridge Ring, a form of Die Deterioration, and Split Plating on the reverse. https://www.error-ref.com/split-plating/
Errers and Varietys.

Polite reminder to include the denomination in your topic titles. Please go back and edit the title to do so. Thanks!

Agree with all above. A nice mix of Die Deterioration issues.

Save it for a comparison coin. caused by a worn die as stated.

That is one worn obverse die. The reverse has split plating above the letters, not uncommon on earlier plated zinc cents.
