Here's another Buffalo. It's been graded F.

This coin has strong detail for the assigned Fine grade; I think many would call this VF. The horn is almost complete and the strike seems better than average. The weak rim at LIBERTY on the obverse may hold it back from a higher grade.

There is an unfortunate vertical dent on the reverse below OF and it also looks like there is some damage on E PLURIBUS UNUM. If this were my coin these defects would bother me some....

F-15+ typically a mushy issue
I believe that the dent on the reverse is due to a heavy clash from the neck and chin

I agree with biokemist6, clashed die.

And, yes, it does not show on the obverse, perhaps a change of dies (obverse & reverse) combinations.

Can anyone tell me if the vertical dent on the reverse below "OF" could have resulted from a filled die?
