Can someone please explain how that 4 piece set comes to 1.524 oz of silver when each piece is 1/4 oz 9999 silver?

Numista lists weight as 11.85 grams each. So, 47.4 grams. I'd say the 1/4 ounce indicator is wrong.

47.4g or 1.6 OZ of pure silver by the Royal Canadian Mint. Special Note: THE RCM wanted a certain physical size for each coin in the set and as a result they have exceeded the minimum ¼ oz weight designated on the coin. The total weight of all four coins is actually 47.40 grams (approximately 1.6 oz) or 11.85 grams each.

Very interesting. If they wanted a specific size and had to adjust the weight, why not just put that on the coin? Is showing "1/4" really that important?

Clearly 0.418g wouldn't fit in the design

I disagree with it being marked as 1/4, as it's inaccurate. Shady people could take a naïve seller. It would look nicer without any weight mentioned.

Well, this is very weird, even by Royal Canadian Mint standards.
